Rising Light Ridge will be a fully accessible recreational, learning, and ministry campus providing a community of belonging where participants of all backgrounds and abilities, and their families, can grow in Christ and in love for others through programming designed to foster peer-to-peer relationships that inform, serve, and challenge one another.
Where?
Rising Light Ridge is the result of the 2016 acquisition by the Tim Tebow Foundation of a magnificent 3000-acre property in Bear Creek, Pennsylvania, just outside of Wilkes-Barre; made possible by an extremely generous donation to allow the property to be used to advance God’s Kingdom and serve individuals and families.
How?
We are committed to providing exceptional experiences to our guests, families and staff in all of our programming. We believe it is vital to demonstrate excellence in all things to honor and glorify God. We will incorporate into our campus design and programs elements which foster peer to peer interaction; facilitating conversation, sharing, and growing.
Who?
Rising Light Ridge will seek to expand the conversation around special needs beyond the current interpretation focused on physical and cognitive challenges, to include socio-economic, relational and traumatic challenges. We will serve guests of all backgrounds and abilities.

Summer Camps
Rising Light Ridge is excited to continue programming in the summer of 2025.
Respite Care
Respite Care for as many as 48 families with children with special needs each program week.
Weekend Retreats
Highly impactful 3 day weekend retreats in the spring and fall, filled with adventure and fun.
Community-Based Events
Community-based events serving local businesses, churches, schools and organizations and expanding the reach and impact of the ministry.
Adaptive Adventures
Adaptive Adventure elements such as ziplines and ropes courses that will challenge participants of all backgrounds and ability levels while emphasizing ability.
Animal Assisted Programs
Animal Assisted Programming at Rising Light Ridge will utilize both equine and canine programs geared to enhance the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional well-being of our participants.
Training And Education Center
Long-term training and education programs for business, school, church and community leaders resulting in true cultural change in how every individual is viewed and valued.
