Our Values

  • Place Christ first in all that we do; honor God in everything
    • But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. —Matthew 6:33
  • Love and serve each other and the TTF community with passion, depth and humility
    • Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. —Philippians 2:3-4
  • Pray always over all things; depend on the Lord
    • pray continually, —1 Thessalonians 5:17
  • Listen well
    • My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, —James 1:19
  • Build up others
    • Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. —Romans 14:19
  • Speak truth with transparency and authenticity
    • Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. —Ephesians 4:15
  • Operate with excellence
    • Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, —Colossians 3:23
  • Act as a catalyst for Faith, Hope and Love
    • And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, —Hebrews 10:24
  • Act as careful and diligent stewards of every resource given to us
    • Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. —1 Peter 4:10
  • Remain obedient and intentional with bold tenacity
    • Now may the God of peace equip you with every good thing for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him. —Hebrews 13:20-21

  • We are each made whole in Christ
  • We will see ourselves and others as our Heavenly Father sees us; not as the worldly culture sees us
  • We all have unique gifts and talents which we will use to bless and serve others while giving glory and honor to God
  • Ministry will be done with each other, in a community of belonging
  • We will not be defined by our current circumstances; we can change our narrative if we choose to define ourselves through that which unites us in Christ
