At our summer day camp program, children will participate in a variety of activities in a God-honoring environment steeped in faith, hope and love. Days will be filled with endless discovery as campers connect with nature providing a sacred setting for reflection and renewal.

Activities include outdoor adventures where campers will hike to wonderous waterfalls, swim in pristine waters of a mountain-top lake, forge connections through the camaraderie of sports, games and archery, dive into aquatic adventures of canoeing, paddleboarding, fishing and campfires by the shore, unleash their creativity with DIY nature crafts, friendship bracelet making, paper painting, drawing and more, and experience profound connection through moments of relection, song, and prayer as we celebrate each other in our community of belonging. 

At Rising Light Ridge, we stand ready to serve and provide a summer day camping experience that offers a blend of nature exploration, team-building activities, and the pure joy of unplugging. Join us for a summer of new friendships, laughter, and creating memories amidst the beauty of God's creation in the great outdoors of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.

Join us this summer for week-long Day Camp adventures offered  Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:30PM each day!

Important Announcement Regarding 2024 Overnight Summer Camp

 
 
It’s with a heavy heart that we must announce the cancellation of our overnight summer camp program for this year. Due to unforeseen adjustments to the construction schedule on our campus, we are unable to proceed with hosting the camp as planned. 
 
We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this news may bring, especially for those who were eagerly anticipating the overnight camp experience. However, the safety and well-being of our campers are our top priorities, and we must prioritize caution in light of the ongoing campus construction.
 
We are pleased to announce that our Day Camp program remains unaffected by the construction and will proceed as scheduled. Registration for the day camp is still open, and we welcome campers to join us for a summer of faith-filled fun and adventure.
 
For those who have already registered for the overnight camp, we will be contacting you to discuss options. We appreciate your understanding and support during this time, and we look forward to welcoming you to our Day Camp program. Explorers

From learning new skills and making friendships with fellow campers, the RLR Explorers are bound to be excited about every activity. Through lifelong memories and incredible experiences, the Explorers camp gives everyone a week where faith, hope, and love are shared through fun and adventure. This explorers camp is built around a foundation of Christ and is a week that your campers will talk about for years to come!

Pathfinders

With all the new avenues that life brings, we are all faced with the challenge of finding our path. Whether this is through Bible stories, nature hikes, days on the lake, and much more, the Pathfinders’ week will be dedicated to helping campers form new hobbies and friendships based on the foundation of Christ. Good times, good laughs, and good lessons will help these campers experience the best week of their summer!

Trailblazers

$

A week without distractions and constant adventures will have your kids experiencing all God has to offer. The Trailblazers’ week is formed to experience the RLR campus to its fullest and learn more about being a child of God. Your campers will leave with new experiences, friends, and memories that will last a lifetime!

Torch Bearers

The Torch Bearers’ week is based on learning leadership and relationship skills to build an identity through Christ. Hence, the Torch Bearers' name sets the tone for all RLR campers for many years to come. The campers will leave the week with new friends, memories, and skills to guide them into their next phases of life!
